Hi,
I’m Charlie, I’m 36, and I live in the U.K. I’ve decided I’m going to try Veganuary, I’ve often thought about trying veganism but haven’t managed it yet. I was brought up pescatarian and started eating meat about 20 years ago, so I don’t think I’ll miss that too much, but I know I’ll struggle with butter and cheese.
I’ve asked my husband and stepdaughter to try it with me but they’ve refused, so I’m on my own cooking this way for now!
Hi :)

Hi there :)
That's great! It seems that you already have intention, and this time you can direct it and manage it through Veganuary. I think you've got this.
It may be a bit challenging to be an only vegan in your family, but you never know, you might inspire your husband and stepdaughter to at least try your meals. And yeah, I know what you mean with butter and cheese. But I think there are some decent alternatives there, especially in the U.K.
Good luck!
