I've been vegan for three years and seen my fair share of disturbing footage, but still, it's so heartbreaking. The mother cows crying out and chasing after their stolen babies... The brutal treatment at the hands of humans every step of the process, every waking hour until they are slaughtered.
Shout out to everyone who completed this course and especially those whose eyes are being opened for the first time about dairy.
I loved this quote from the James Aspey speech: "If you agree that causing unnecessary harm to animals is wrong, then by that belief—by your own belief—you are obligated to go vegan. Because anything less than going vegan will be in conflict with your core value."

It was, I was convinced before even finishing Dominion, brutal footage. Such unnecessary suffering :(
i only made it through 20 minutes of Dominion, it's worse than a horror movie-

I was once asked by a co-worker - if I had to cut one animal product, what should it be? He was surprised then I answered dairy, and went on to explain why. Yes, this is a tough subject! =(

That was so incredibly awful to watch. The way they impregnate these poor animals is so disgusting. The cows crying and the mother chasing after her baby was so heartbreaking and, the poor baby calf looking absolutely terrified. Not to mention the footage of the chickens. I almost couldn't make it through this one. Cheers to never drinking milk or eating cheese/dairy again.

I don’t know how anyone could continue eating dairy after seeing what really happens. The way the mother chases after the baby calf is just absolutely gut wrenching to watch. A lifetime of torture and suffering ended by a painful violent death. What is wrong with us?!

This was so triggering. I'd given up milk years ago, it just made me feel gross. I could only watch the subtitles with the sound off. It's true, judge a society by how it treats animals.
