Hello! I started transitioning to a vegan diet about 4 years ago. I realize now that I wasn't eating nearly enough and lost a ton of weight really quickly. I started experiencing facial redness around that time, which seemed to subside a bit over the years. But over the past few months it's come back with a vengeance. I still struggle with eating enough, so I'm wondering if there are any nutrients I'm lacking that might cause this? Or if it's due to low protein and/or low stomach acid as a result of damaging my metabolism? If so, do you have any suggestions to increase stomach acid or the potential missing protein/other nutrients?
If it helps, I also started experiencing a sore throat when I first when vegan and it's still red and swollen today.
Thank you!
