Hi everyone,
I came here because of Reddit post in r/vegan. As I need to do this for my health, I went to the subreddit to find recipes. I worked nearly 25 years in a job that was brutal on my body physically and now in my 40s I'm paying for it. I just started seeing a DO for help in nutrition, supplements and other stuff for the chronic pain and inflammation and other health benefits. Their immediate suggestion was to go vegetarian or vegan and everyone in the office practices one or the other. So an enormous source of encouragement right there. I also have a chronic condition which causes me to cannot walk, and while I'm not looking for a cure-all, I am looking for anything I can do to make my life a bit more fun rather than sitting around in pain all the time.
It's time to take my life back and I'm committed to this change for the better. Not only for myself but for the animals, too.
